The number of active job postings in the Industrial Goods and Machinery sector of Poland decreased by 6.7% MoM, and decreased by 10.32% since October 2023, reaching 1,086 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 316 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 3.07% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 394 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 2.34% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 20.4% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 13.22%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 7.32%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 3.57% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 4.61%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 360, number of jobs closed stood at 405 and number of active jobs stood at 1,171.
