The number of active ESG related job postings in the Industrial Goods and Machinery sector of United States decreased by 9.28% MoM, and decreased by 15.91% since October 2023, reaching 17,510 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 6,498 new ESG related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 6.11% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 8,289 ESG related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 10.12% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted decreased by 30.44% and the number of ESG related jobs closed decreased by 7.65%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 11.39%, the number of active ESG related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.61% and the number of ESG related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 2.62%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of ESG related jobs posted stood at 7,509, number of ESG related jobs closed stood at 8,246 and number of active ESG related jobs stood at 19,584.
