The second-largest deal was between Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, LLC and Cornerstone Building Brands Inc, while the third-largest deal was between Lone Star Funds and SPX Flow Inc. The Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, LLC-Cornerstone Building Brands Inc deal and the Lone Star Funds-SPX Flow Inc deal were valued at $4,289.7 million and $3,800.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Clearlake Capital Group, L.P.-Intertape Polymer Group Inc valued at $2,600.0 million, whereas the deal between Partners Group Holding AG-DiversiTech Corporation valued at $2,200.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $25,743.6 million and accounted for nearly 38.51% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. By region, Asia-Pacific accounted for 44.35% of the total Private Equity/Venture Financing deals done globally, and recorded a total deal value of $29,553.8 million, which accounted for 28.20% of the total deal size on a global scale.
