India: Cybersecurity Related Job Trends in the Industrial Goods and Machinery Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active Cybersecurity related job postings in the Industrial Goods and Machinery sector of India increased by 11.6% MoM, and increased by 15.43% since October 2023, reaching 404 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 143 new Cybersecurity related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 34.91% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 101 Cybersecurity related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 16.09% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cybersecurity related jobs posted increased by 10.85% and the number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed decreased by 11.4%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cybersecurity related jobs posted observed a growth rate of 3.49%, the number of active Cybersecurity related job postings observed a growth rate of 4.9% and the number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 3.96%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cybersecurity related jobs posted stood at 119, number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed stood at 101 and number of active Cybersecurity related jobs stood at 364.
