The number of active job postings in the Industrial Goods and Machinery sector of Taiwan decreased by 11.48% MoM, and increased by 10.44% since October 2023, reaching 455 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 49 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 48.96% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 108 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 6.93% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted increased by 32.43% and the number of jobs closed increased by 71.43%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a growth rate of 9.82%, the number of active job postings observed a growth rate of 3.36% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 19.68%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 89, number of jobs closed stood at 85 and number of active jobs stood at 475.
