The number of active job postings in Albania decreased by 24.05% MoM, and decreased by 37.37% since October 2023, reaching 982 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 491 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 15.92% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 802 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 4.75% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 41.76% and the number of jobs closed increased by 14.57%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 16.49%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 14.44% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 4.64%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 669, number of jobs closed stood at 780 and number of active jobs stood at 1,348.
