The number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings in the Asia-Pacific region driven by Artificial Intelligence decreased by 11.8% MoM, and decreased by 11.44% since October 2023, reaching 23,691 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 7,398 new Artificial Intelligence related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 16.27% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 10,567 Artificial Intelligence related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 9.74% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 11.31% and the number of jobs closed increased by 37.27%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 3.92%, the number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 3.97% and the number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 11.14%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 8,560, number of jobs closed stood at 9,164 and number of active jobs stood at 26,238.
