The number of active Blockchain related job postings in the Asia-Pacific region driven by Blockchain decreased by 4.78% MoM, and decreased by 13.9% since October 2023, reaching 1,771 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 308 new Blockchain related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 22.61% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 397 Blockchain related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 27.02% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 48.67% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 20.76%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Blockchain related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 19.93%, the number of active Blockchain related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 4.87% and the number of Blockchain related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 7.46%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 434, number of jobs closed stood at 481 and number of active jobs stood at 1,923.
