The number of active Cloud related job postings in the Asia-Pacific region driven by Cloud decreased by 18.4% MoM, and decreased by 14.27% since October 2023, reaching 51,259 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 17,513 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 28.19% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 29,071 Cloud related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 42.08% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 19.31% and the number of jobs closed increased by 60.62%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 6.9%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 17.11%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 20,698, number of jobs closed stood at 21,929 and number of active jobs stood at 58,188.
