The number of active Connectivity related job postings in the Asia-Pacific region driven by Connectivity decreased by 8.42% MoM, and decreased by 12.27% since October 2023, reaching 5,250 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 1,565 new Connectivity related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 6.18% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 2,048 Connectivity related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 14.67% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted increased by 6.68% and the number of jobs closed increased by 19.91%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Connectivity related jobs posted observed a growth rate of 2.18%, the number of active Connectivity related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 4.27% and the number of Connectivity related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 6.24%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 1,581, number of jobs closed stood at 1,825 and number of active jobs stood at 5,704.
