The number of active Cybersecurity related job postings in the Asia-Pacific region driven by Cybersecurity decreased by 10.69% MoM, and decreased by 14.52% since October 2023, reaching 17,973 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 5,465 new Cybersecurity related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 14.05% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 7,616 Cybersecurity related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 4.77% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 19.74% and the number of jobs closed increased by 18.83%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cybersecurity related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 7.07%, the number of active Cybersecurity related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.1% and the number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 5.92%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 6,403, number of jobs closed stood at 7,067 and number of active jobs stood at 20,039.
