The number of active Governance related job postings in the Asia-Pacific region driven by Governance decreased by 12.74% MoM, and decreased by 25.35% since October 2023, reaching 20,371 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 7,693 new Governance related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 9.85% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 10,667 Governance related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 13.1% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 23.73% and the number of jobs closed increased by 9.46%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Governance related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 8.64%, the number of active Governance related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 9.29% and the number of Governance related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 3.06%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 9,313, number of jobs closed stood at 10,957 and number of active jobs stood at 24,522.
