The number of active Virtual and Augmented Reality related job postings in the Asia-Pacific region driven by Virtual and Augmented Reality decreased by 16.9% MoM, and decreased by 30.01% since October 2023, reaching 723 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 237 new Virtual and Augmented Reality related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 13.4% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 384 Virtual and Augmented Reality related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 7.87% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted increased by 27.42% and the number of jobs closed increased by 48.26%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Virtual and Augmented Reality related jobs posted observed a growth rate of 8.41%, the number of active Virtual and Augmented Reality related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 11.21% and the number of Virtual and Augmented Reality related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 14.03%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 243, number of jobs closed stood at 339 and number of active jobs stood at 910.
