On the other hand, the month of September 2021 was the most prolific in terms of deal volume, recording a total of 54 deals, resulting in an average deal value of $51.2 million during that month.
Of the 382 deals, the deal secured between Sibanye Stillwater Ltd and New Century Resources Ltd, was the largest Equity Offering deal in the Australia, which was valued at $46.0 million and was completed on October 27, 2021. The second-largest deal was between AMCI Group; AMCI Investments Pty., Ltd.; Lithium Americas Corp; Primero Group Ltd and Green Technology Metals Limited, while the third-largest deal was between Nomura Holdings Inc and Grow Finance Group. The AMCI Group; AMCI Investments Pty., Ltd.; Lithium Americas Corp; Primero Group Ltd-Green Technology Metals Limited deal and the Nomura Holdings Inc-Grow Finance Group deal were valued at $39.3 million and $35.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between AGL Energy Ltd; Australian Renewable Energy Agency; Chevron Technology Ventures LLC; Photon Energy NV; Schlumberger Ltd-Raygen Resources Pty Ltd. valued at $32.5 million, whereas the deal between CIGNA Investments Inc-Tritium Pty Ltd. valued at $29.7 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $182.6 million and accounted for nearly 1.47% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months.
