The number of active job postings in Bulgaria decreased by 15.03% MoM, and decreased by 1.66% since October 2023, reaching 2,968 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 943 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 22% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 1,468 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 6.14% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 9.24% and the number of jobs closed increased by 59.91%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 3.18%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 0.56% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 16.94%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 1,355, number of jobs closed stood at 1,337 and number of active jobs stood at 3,331.
