The number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings in Canada driven by Artificial Intelligence decreased by 1.02% MoM, and decreased by 7.06% since October 2023, reaching 3,802 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 1,456 new Artificial Intelligence related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 11.49% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 1,495 Artificial Intelligence related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 12.73% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted increased by 1.68% and the number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed increased by 8.33%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted observed a growth rate of 0.56%, the number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 2.41% and the number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 2.7%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted stood at 1,487, the average number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed stood at 1,546 and the average number of active Artificial Intelligence related jobs stood at 3,995.
