The number of active Internet of Things related job postings in China driven by Internet of Things decreased by 11% MoM, and decreased by 17.73% since October 2023, reaching 631 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 114 new Internet of Things related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 17.39% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 192 Internet of Things related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 18.52% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Internet of Things related jobs posted increased by 0.88% and the number of Internet of Things related jobs closed increased by 38.13%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Internet of Things related jobs posted observed a growth rate of 0.29%, the number of active Internet of Things related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.3% and the number of Internet of Things related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 11.37%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Internet of Things related jobs posted stood at 137, the average number of Internet of Things related jobs closed stood at 178 and the average number of active Internet of Things related jobs stood at 710.
