On the other hand, the month of March 2022 was the most prolific in terms of deal volume, recording a total of 10 deals, resulting in an average deal value of $23.2 million during that month.
Of the 72 deals, the deal secured between T. Rowe Price Group Inc and Rappi SAS, was the largest Private Equity/Venture Financing deal in the Colombia, which was valued at $500.0 million and was completed on July 8, 2021. The second-largest deal was between I Squared Capital and Sociedad Portuaria Regional de Barranquilla, while the third-largest deal was between Banco Ahorro Famsa S.A. Institucion de Banca Multiple; Banco Mercantil del Norte SA; Clocktower Ventures; Endeavor Catalyst; GIC Pte Ltd; Grupo Financiero Banorte SAB de CV; Henry Kravis; Homebrew LLC; SoftBank Group Corp; Tiger Global Management LLC and Adelante Soluciones Financieras SAS; Inversiones MCN SAS. The I Squared Capital-Sociedad Portuaria Regional de Barranquilla deal and the Banco Ahorro Famsa S.A. Institucion de Banca Multiple; Banco Mercantil del Norte SA; Clocktower Ventures; Endeavor Catalyst; GIC Pte Ltd; Grupo Financiero Banorte SAB de CV; Henry Kravis; Homebrew LLC; SoftBank Group Corp; Tiger Global Management LLC-Adelante Soluciones Financieras SAS; Inversiones MCN SAS deal were valued at $220.0 million and $200.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Coatue Management LLC; Eight Partners LLC; Foundamental; H20 Capital; Lightrock LLP; Monashees; SoftBank Venture Capital; Tiger Global Management LLC-TUL SAS valued at $181.0 million, whereas the deal between CR Business Innovation Investment Fund LP-Apex Centric Investment Ltd valued at $115.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $1,301.0 million and accounted for nearly 45.47% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months.
