The number of active job postings in Czech Republic decreased by 4.79% MoM, and increased by 20.52% since October 2023, reaching 7,847 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 31,209 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 8.4% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 31,604 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 7.93% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted increased by 255.17% and the number of jobs closed increased by 237.18%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a growth rate of 52.57%, the number of active job postings observed a growth rate of 6.42% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 49.95%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 27,095, number of jobs closed stood at 26,908 and number of active jobs stood at 7,774.
