Of the 109 deals, the deal secured between TPG Capital LP; Vista Equity Partners Management LLC and Blue Prism Group Plc, was the largest Private Equity/Venture Financing deal in the Europe driven by Future of Work, which was valued at $1,500.0 million and was completed on September 27, 2021. The second-largest deal was between Arena Holdings; Durable Capital Partners LP; Franklin Templeton Investments Corp; Splunk Ventures; T Rowe Price Associates Inc and Celonis GmbH, while the third-largest deal was between Beyond NetZero; Generation Investment Management U.S. LLP; KKR & Co Inc and o9 Solutions Inc. The Arena Holdings; Durable Capital Partners LP; Franklin Templeton Investments Corp; Splunk Ventures; T Rowe Price Associates Inc-Celonis GmbH deal and the Beyond NetZero; Generation Investment Management U.S. LLP; KKR & Co Inc-o9 Solutions Inc deal were valued at $1,000.0 million and $295.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between ABN AMRO Ventures; AlbionVC; British Patient Capital Ltd; Dawn Capital LLP; Evolution Equity Partners; HSBC Holdings Plc; Warburg Pincus LLC-Quantexa valued at $153.0 million, whereas the deal between Alkeon Capital; Coatue Management LLC; DST Global; Newion Partners BV; OMERS Ventures; Redpoint Ventures; SmartFin Capital-Deliverect valued at $150.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $3,098.0 million and accounted for nearly 57.79% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. The Europe region accounted for 16.48% of the total Private Equity/Venture Financing deals done globally, and accounted for 18.66% of the total deal size on a global scale.
