On the other hand, the month of June 2021 was the most prolific in terms of deal volume, recording a total of 15 deals, resulting in an average deal value of $52.9 million during that month.
Of the 104 deals, the deal secured between European Investment Bank and Enel SpA, was the largest Private Equity/Venture Financing deal in the Europe driven by Robotics, which was valued at $652.6 million and was completed on April 11, 2022. The second-largest deal was between Ally Bridge Group; Cambridge Innovation Capital Plc; Chimera Partners Limited; GE Healthcare; LGT Impact Ventures; Lightrock LLP; PFM Health Sciences LP; RPMI Railpen; SoftBank Vision Fund II; Tencent Holdings Ltd; Watrium AS and CMR Surgical Ltd, while the third-largest deal was between 83North Venture Capital; Dell Technologies Capital; Goldman Sachs Asset Management and EXOTEC Solutions SAS. The Ally Bridge Group; Cambridge Innovation Capital Plc; Chimera Partners Limited; GE Healthcare; LGT Impact Ventures; Lightrock LLP; PFM Health Sciences LP; RPMI Railpen; SoftBank Vision Fund II; Tencent Holdings Ltd; Watrium AS-CMR Surgical Ltd deal and the 83North Venture Capital; Dell Technologies Capital; Goldman Sachs Asset Management-EXOTEC Solutions SAS deal were valued at $600.0 million and $335.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Big Sur Ventures; Castel Capital BV; Endeavor Catalyst; First Bridge Ventures; Fuse Venture Partners; Inaki Berenguer; InfraVia Capital Partners; Kibo Ventures; Rider Global; RPS Ventures, Inc.; SoftBank Vision Fund II; Unbound-Paack SPV Investments SL valued at $225.0 million, whereas the deal between Chimera Investments LLC; Foxconn Industrial Internet Co Ltd; GL Ventures; Linear Capital Corp; Sequoia China Investment Management LLP; SoftBank Vision Fund 2; Xiaomi Group-Agile Robots AG valued at $220.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $2,032.6 million and accounted for nearly 51.64% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. The Europe region accounted for 18.15% of the total Private Equity/Venture Financing deals done globally, and accounted for 18.84% of the total deal size on a global scale.
