The number of active Cloud related job postings in the Europe region driven by Cloud decreased by 9.02% MoM, and decreased by 13.88% since October 2023, reaching 48,927 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 11,739 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 10.51% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 16,590 Cloud related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 3.33% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 32.95% and the number of jobs closed increased by 3.27%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 12.48%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 4.86% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 1.08%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 14,994, number of jobs closed stood at 16,604 and number of active jobs stood at 54,334.
