The number of active Technology related job postings in the Europe region driven by Technology decreased by 10.22% MoM, and decreased by 18.47% since October 2023, reaching 213,736 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 64,469 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 5.66% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 88,793 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 1.46% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 34.76% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 7.04%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 13.27%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.58% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 2.4%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 81,288, number of jobs closed stood at 92,569 and number of active jobs stood at 242,797.
