In the LTM period, November 2021 turned out to be the most prolific in terms of deal size, with a total deal value of $9,359.2 million, resulting in an average deal value of $1,871.8 million during that month. On the other hand, the month of January 2022 was the most prolific in terms of deal volume, recording a total of 7 deals, resulting in an average deal value of $34.8 million during that month.
Of the 52 deals, the deal secured between DoorDash Inc and Wolt Enterprises Oy, was the largest M&A deal in the Finland, which was valued at $8,100.8 million and was completed on November 9, 2021. The second-largest deal was between Organon & Co and Forendo Pharma Ltd, while the third-largest deal was between Castellum AB and Kielo. The Organon & Co-Forendo Pharma Ltd deal and the Castellum AB-Kielo deal were valued at $954.0 million and $758.1 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between SigmaRoc PLC-Nordkalk Oy Ab valued at $590.4 million, whereas the deal between Playtika Holding Corp-Reworks Ltd valued at $400.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $10,803.3 million and accounted for nearly 66.25% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months.
