The number of active ESG related job postings in Finland driven by ESG increased by 1.35% MoM, and increased by 36.36% since October 2023, reaching 900 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 439 new ESG related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 19% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 427 ESG related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 19.27% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted increased by 28.74% and the number of ESG related jobs closed increased by 32.2%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted observed a growth rate of 8.79%, the number of active ESG related job postings observed a growth rate of 10.89% and the number of ESG related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 9.75%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of ESG related jobs posted stood at 422, the average number of ESG related jobs closed stood at 357 and the average number of active ESG related jobs stood at 788.
