The number of active Cybersecurity related job postings in Germany driven by Cybersecurity decreased by 5.5% MoM, and decreased by 13.33% since October 2023, reaching 7,129 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 1,027 new Cybersecurity related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 25.25% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 1,442 Cybersecurity related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 26.62% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cybersecurity related jobs posted decreased by 34.79% and the number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed decreased by 21.72%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cybersecurity related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 13.28%, the number of active Cybersecurity related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 4.66% and the number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 7.84%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cybersecurity related jobs posted stood at 1,438, the average number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed stood at 1,779 and the average number of active Cybersecurity related jobs stood at 7,758.
