Global: Five largest Mergers & Acquisitions deals by value driven by Robotics (LTM June 2022)

  • A total of 33 M&A deals (pending and completed) were announced across the world, driven by Robotics, in the last twelve months resulting in a total deal value of over $10,531.4 million. In the LTM period, April 2022 turned out to be the most prolific in terms of deal size, with a total deal value of $2,486.0 million, resulting in an average deal value of $621.5 million during that month. On the other hand, the month of August 2021 was the most prolific in terms of deal volume, recording a total of 5 deals, resulting in an average deal value of $78.2 million during that month.

  • Of the 33 deals, the deal secured between Deutsche Telekom AG and SoftBank Group Corp; T-Mobile US Inc, was the world's largest M&A deal driven by Robotics, which was valued at $2,400.0 million and was completed on April 13, 2022. The second-largest deal was between General Motors Co and GM Cruise LLC, while the third-largest deal was between GE Healthcare and BK Medical Systems Inc.
