Of the 33 deals, the deal secured between Deutsche Telekom AG and SoftBank Group Corp; T-Mobile US Inc, was the world's largest M&A deal driven by Robotics, which was valued at $2,400.0 million and was completed on April 13, 2022. The second-largest deal was between General Motors Co and GM Cruise LLC, while the third-largest deal was between GE Healthcare and BK Medical Systems Inc. The General Motors Co-GM Cruise LLC deal and the GE Healthcare-BK Medical Systems Inc deal were valued at $2,100.0 million and $1,450.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Zebra Technologies Corp-Fetch Robotics Inc. valued at $290.0 million, whereas the deal between Deere & Co-Bear Flag Robotics LLC valued at $250.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $6,490.0 million and accounted for nearly 61.63% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. By region, North America accounted for 95.38% of the total M&A deals done globally, and recorded a total deal value of $10,207.7 million, which accounted for 42.42% of the total deal size on a global scale.
