The second-largest deal was between Permira IP Ltd and Adevinta ASA, while the third-largest deal was between Abu Dhabi Investment Authority; Temasek Investments, Inc. and GoTo Group - Indonesia. The Permira IP Ltd-Adevinta ASA deal and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority; Temasek Investments, Inc.-GoTo Group - Indonesia deal were valued at $2,250.0 million and $2,000.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between ADQ; Fidelity Management & Research Company; General Atlantic Ltd; MSD Capital LP; Princeville Capital; Qatar Holdings LLC; Qatar Investment Authority; SoftBank Vision Fund 2-Fanatics Inc; Trendyol.com valued at $1,500.0 million, whereas the deal between Alibaba Group Holding Ltd; Haier Group; Jiangsu Provincial Government; Midea Group Co Ltd; Nanjing State Asset Management Committee; TCL Technology Group Corp; Xiaomi Corp-Suningcom Group Co Ltd valued at $1,360.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $11,750.0 million and accounted for nearly 12.84% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. By region, North America accounted for 41.55% of the total Private Equity/Venture Financing deals done globally, and recorded a total deal value of $37,865.9 million, which accounted for 34.33% of the total deal size on a global scale.
