On the other hand, the month of July 2021 was the most prolific in terms of deal volume, recording a total of 63 deals, resulting in an average deal value of $36.8 million during that month.
Of the 501 deals, the deal secured between Turkey Wealth Fund and Turk Telekomunikasyon AS, was the world's largest Private Equity/Venture Financing deal driven by Mobile, which was valued at $1,650.0 million and was completed on March 10, 2022. The second-largest deal was between Coatue Management LLC; Dragoneer Investment Group LLC; Third Point Ventures L.P. and N26 Bank GmbH, while the third-largest deal was between The Saudi Public Investment Fund and Nexon Co Ltd. The Coatue Management LLC; Dragoneer Investment Group LLC; Third Point Ventures L.P.-N26 Bank GmbH deal and the The Saudi Public Investment Fund-Nexon Co Ltd deal were valued at $900.0 million and $883.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between SoftBank Vision Fund II; Tiger Global Management LLC-Revolut Ltd valued at $800.0 million, whereas the deal between Abu Dhabi Growth Fund (ADG); Falcon Edge Capital, LP; Mubadala Investment Co; Sequoia Capital Operations LLC; Tiger Global Management LLC-Getir valued at $768.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $5,001.0 million and accounted for nearly 21.02% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. By region, Europe accounted for 36.38% of the total Private Equity/Venture Financing deals done globally, and recorded a total deal value of $8,470.8 million, which accounted for 24.95% of the total deal size on a global scale.
