The number of global active Blockchain related job postings decreased by 5.62% MoM, and decreased by 14.5% since October 2023, reaching 7,210 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 1,414 new Blockchain related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 12.5% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 1,843 Blockchain related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 15.92% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Blockchain related jobs posted decreased by 43.05% and the number of Blockchain related jobs closed decreased by 14.04%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Blockchain related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 17.11%, the number of active Blockchain related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.09% and the number of Blockchain related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 4.92%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Blockchain related jobs posted stood at 1,895, the average number of Blockchain related jobs closed stood at 2,116 and the average number of active Blockchain related jobs stood at 7,874.
