The number of global active Cloud related job postings decreased by 10.62% MoM, and decreased by 14.31% since October 2023, reaching 210,410 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 60,990 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 12.45% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 85,990 Cloud related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 8.57% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted decreased by 24.76% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed increased by 11.47%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 9.05%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.02% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 3.68%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cloud related jobs posted stood at 72,317, the average number of Cloud related jobs closed stood at 80,125 and the average number of active Cloud related jobs stood at 234,081.
