The number of active Governance related job postings in Hong Kong driven by Governance decreased by 12.13% MoM, and decreased by 3.97% since October 2023, reaching 920 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 310 new Governance related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 7.46% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 437 Governance related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 13.51% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Governance related jobs posted increased by 35.37% and the number of Governance related jobs closed increased by 60.07%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Governance related jobs posted observed a growth rate of 10.62%, the number of active Governance related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 1.34% and the number of Governance related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 16.98%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Governance related jobs posted stood at 323, the average number of Governance related jobs closed stood at 343 and the average number of active Governance related jobs stood at 1,005.
