Of the 205 deals, the deal secured between D1 Capital Partners; DST Global; Falcon Edge India; Footpath Ventures; RedBird Capital Partners LLC; Tiger Global Management LLC; TPG Capital LP and Sporta Technologies Pvt Ltd, was the largest Private Equity/Venture Financing deal in the India, which was valued at $840.0 million and was completed on November 24, 2021. The second-largest deal was between BlackRock Inc; Sumeru Ventures; Vitruvian Partners LLC and Think and Learn Pvt Ltd, while the third-largest deal was between ARK Impact Asset Management Inc.; Axis Growth Avenues AIF- I; Baron Capital Group, Inc.; Falcon Edge Capital, LP; Ghisallo Partners LP; IIFL AMC Late Stage Tech Fund; Invesco Ltd; Kotak; Prosus Ventures; Qatar Investment Authority; Segantii Capital Management Limited; Sixteenth Street Capital Pte. Ltd.; Smile Group; Sumeru Venture Partners and Bundl Technologies Private Ltd. The fourth-largest deal was between DST Global; Falcon Edge Capital, LP; SoftBank Vision Fund LP; The Carlyle Group Inc.-CARS24 Services Pvt Ltd valued at $340.0 million, whereas the deal between Chimera Investment LLC; Gablehorn Investments; InnoVen Capital India Pvt Ltd; Prosus Ventures; SoftBank Vision Fund II; The Goldman Sachs Group Inc-NTex Transportation Services Pvt Ltd valued at $300.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $2,980.0 million and accounted for nearly 30.84% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months.
