The number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings in India driven by Artificial Intelligence decreased by 12.62% MoM, and decreased by 8.97% since October 2023, reaching 12,047 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 4,491 new Artificial Intelligence related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 15.39% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 6,231 Artificial Intelligence related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 13.29% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted decreased by 5.21% and the number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed increased by 55.7%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 1.77%, the number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 3.08% and the number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 15.9%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted stood at 4,958, the average number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed stood at 5,071 and the average number of active Artificial Intelligence related jobs stood at 13,261.
