The number of active Governance related job postings in India driven by Governance decreased by 12.18% MoM, and decreased by 29.42% since October 2023, reaching 8,804 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 3,306 new Governance related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 13.88% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 4,527 Governance related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 25.94% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Governance related jobs posted decreased by 24.33% and the number of Governance related jobs closed increased by 20.14%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Governance related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 8.87%, the number of active Governance related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 10.96% and the number of Governance related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 6.31%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Governance related jobs posted stood at 3,990, the average number of Governance related jobs closed stood at 4,757 and the average number of active Governance related jobs stood at 10,900.
