The number of active Internet of Things related job postings in India driven by Internet of Things decreased by 7.72% MoM, and decreased by 11.79% since October 2023, reaching 2,917 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 1,024 new Internet of Things related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 4.6% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 1,268 Internet of Things related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 7.46% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Internet of Things related jobs posted decreased by 5.27% and the number of Internet of Things related jobs closed decreased by 13.09%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Internet of Things related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 1.79%, the number of active Internet of Things related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 4.1% and the number of Internet of Things related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 4.57%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Internet of Things related jobs posted stood at 1,077, the average number of Internet of Things related jobs closed stood at 1,269 and the average number of active Internet of Things related jobs stood at 3,186.
