The number of active Technology related job postings in India driven by Technology decreased by 14.89% MoM, and decreased by 20.21% since October 2023, reaching 90,188 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 31,339 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 21.78% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 47,112 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 19.33% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 15.38% and the number of Technology related jobs closed increased by 42.07%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 5.42%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 7.25% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 12.42%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 36,467, the average number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 41,210 and the average number of active Technology related jobs stood at 103,640.
