Ireland witnessed 16 Private Equity/Venture Financing deals in July 2022, for an aggregate deal value of $169.5 million. This represents a decrease of 99.4% in terms of value and a decrease of 97.0% in terms of volume, year over year.
A total of 131 Private Equity/Venture Financing deals were recorded over the last twelve months (LTM) for an aggregate deal value of $2,403.6 million. In the LTM period, January 2022, turned out to be the most prolific in terms of deal size, with a total deal value of $43,511.7 million and a deal volume of 256 during that month. On the other hand, the month of September 2021, was the most prolific in terms of deal volume, recording a total of 201 deals with a total deal value of $981,739.9 million during that month.
On an average, over the LTM period, 10 deals were done with an average deal size of $200.3 million.
