The number of active Cybersecurity related job postings in Italy driven by Cybersecurity decreased by 12.7% MoM, and decreased by 19.93% since October 2023, reaching 1,499 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 414 new Cybersecurity related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 1.97% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 632 Cybersecurity related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 11.66% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cybersecurity related jobs posted decreased by 40.86% and the number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed increased by 17.04%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cybersecurity related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 16.06%, the number of active Cybersecurity related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 7.14% and the number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 5.38%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cybersecurity related jobs posted stood at 526, the average number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed stood at 579 and the average number of active Cybersecurity related jobs stood at 1,741.
