Japan witnessed 15 Debt Offering deals in July 2022, for an aggregate deal value of $3,324.8 million. This represents a decrease of 81.5% in terms of value and a decrease of 86.0% in terms of volume, year over year.
A total of 263 Debt Offering deals were recorded over the last twelve months (LTM) for an aggregate deal value of $55,409.4 million. In the LTM period, January 2022, turned out to be the most prolific in terms of deal size, with a total deal value of $43,511.7 million and a deal volume of 256 during that month. On the other hand, the month of February 2022, was the most prolific in terms of deal volume, recording a total of 194 deals with a total deal value of $482,038.1 million during that month.
On an average, over the LTM period, 21 deals were done with an average deal size of $4,617.5 million.
