The number of active Cloud related job postings in Japan driven by Cloud decreased by 19.78% MoM, and decreased by 27.54% since October 2023, reaching 2,186 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 357 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 44.48% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 896 Cloud related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 6.16% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted decreased by 52.53% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed increased by 16.67%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 21.99%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 10.18% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 5.27%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cloud related jobs posted stood at 603, the average number of Cloud related jobs closed stood at 815 and the average number of active Cloud related jobs stood at 2,713.
