The number of active job postings in Luxembourg decreased by 20.91% MoM, and decreased by 26.95% since October 2023, reaching 2,103 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 469 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 20.1% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 1,025 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 42.96% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 46.83% and the number of jobs closed increased by 20.73%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 18.98%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 9.94% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 6.48%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 698, number of jobs closed stood at 883 and number of active jobs stood at 2,607.
