The number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings in Malaysia driven by Artificial Intelligence decreased by 12.56% MoM, and decreased by 25.35% since October 2023, reaching 689 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 187 new Artificial Intelligence related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 14.72% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 286 Artificial Intelligence related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 23.28% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted decreased by 26.95% and the number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed increased by 36.19%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 9.94%, the number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 9.29% and the number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 10.84%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted stood at 200, the average number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed stood at 247 and the average number of active Artificial Intelligence related jobs stood at 814.
