The number of active Connectivity related job postings in Malaysia driven by Connectivity decreased by 16.22% MoM, and decreased by 30.47% since October 2023, reaching 1,426 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 359 new Connectivity related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 0.84% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 635 Connectivity related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 11.8% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Connectivity related jobs posted increased by 16.56% and the number of Connectivity related jobs closed increased by 93.01%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Connectivity related jobs posted observed a growth rate of 5.24%, the number of active Connectivity related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 11.41% and the number of Connectivity related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 24.51%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Connectivity related jobs posted stood at 350, the average number of Connectivity related jobs closed stood at 511 and the average number of active Connectivity related jobs stood at 1,773.
