The number of active Cybersecurity related job postings in Mexico driven by Cybersecurity decreased by 4.84% MoM, and decreased by 7.41% since October 2023, reaching 787 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 258 new Cybersecurity related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 14.67% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 298 Cybersecurity related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 4.93% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cybersecurity related jobs posted decreased by 18.35% and the number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed decreased by 2.61%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cybersecurity related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 6.54%, the number of active Cybersecurity related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 2.53% and the number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 0.88%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cybersecurity related jobs posted stood at 279, the average number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed stood at 292 and the average number of active Cybersecurity related jobs stood at 837.
