The second-largest deal was between Endeavor Catalyst; Prosus NV; Sequoia Capital India; STV - Saudi Arabia and Foodics, while the third-largest deal was between Altshuler Shaham Group; Claltech; Goldman Sachs Asset Management LP; Greycroft Ventures; Hanaco Ventures Capital Ltd; Harel Insurance Investments and Financial Services Ltd; Insight Partners; Migdal Insurance Company Ltd.; Shavit Capital Fund and Lightricks Ltd. The Endeavor Catalyst; Prosus NV; Sequoia Capital India; STV - Saudi Arabia-Foodics deal and the Altshuler Shaham Group; Claltech; Goldman Sachs Asset Management LP; Greycroft Ventures; Hanaco Ventures Capital Ltd; Harel Insurance Investments and Financial Services Ltd; Insight Partners; Migdal Insurance Company Ltd.; Shavit Capital Fund-Lightricks Ltd deal were valued at $170.0 million and $130.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between CDC Group Plc.; Endeavor Catalyst; International Finance Corp; LeapFrog Investments; MSA Capital; Novastar Ventures Limited; ParTech (France); Sahel Capital; Tana Africa Capital Limited-InterSwitch Ltd; TradeDepot Inc. valued at $110.0 million, whereas the deal between Cambridge Capital Group LLC; GLP Ventures; Insight Partners; Menorah Manor Inc; Mivtach Shamir Holdings Ltd; MoreTech Ventures; Next47 Inc.; PayPal Ventures; Pereg Ventures LLC; Pitango Venture Capital; Salesforce Ventures; Shmuel Harlap; SoftBank Vision Fund 2; State of Mind Ventures; Viola Growth-Bringg Delivery Technologies Ltd; StreamElements valued at $100.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $720.0 million and accounted for nearly 32.14% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. The Middle East and Africa region accounted for 2.11% of the total Private Equity/Venture Financing deals done globally, and accounted for 5.01% of the total deal size on a global scale.
