The number of active Cloud related job postings in the Middle East and Africa region driven by Cloud decreased by 10.22% MoM, and decreased by 13.54% since October 2023, reaching 4,356 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 1,324 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 4.54% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 1,820 Cloud related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 7.5% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 9.75% and the number of jobs closed increased by 18.18%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 3.36%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 4.73% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 5.73%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 1,465, number of jobs closed stood at 1,654 and number of active jobs stood at 4,851.
