The number of active Connectivity related job postings in the Middle East and Africa region driven by Connectivity decreased by 12.07% MoM, and decreased by 16% since October 2023, reaching 357 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 81 new Connectivity related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 18.18% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 130 Connectivity related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 7.44% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 43.75% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 18.24%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Connectivity related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 17.45%, the number of active Connectivity related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.65% and the number of Connectivity related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 6.49%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 117, number of jobs closed stood at 137 and number of active jobs stood at 404.
