The number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings in the North America region driven by Artificial Intelligence decreased by 7.86% MoM, and decreased by 15.05% since October 2023, reaching 57,967 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 18,735 new Artificial Intelligence related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 4.38% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 23,679 Artificial Intelligence related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 3.18% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 20.25% and the number of jobs closed increased by 7.75%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 7.27%, the number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.29% and the number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 2.52%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 21,169, number of jobs closed stood at 23,357 and number of active jobs stood at 64,221.
