The number of active Cloud related job postings in the North America region driven by Cloud decreased by 7.09% MoM, and decreased by 14.87% since October 2023, reaching 101,734 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 29,020 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 0.61% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 36,783 Cloud related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 3.34% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 24.69% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 7.15%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 9.02%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.23% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 2.44%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 33,451, number of jobs closed stood at 38,166 and number of active jobs stood at 112,274.
